The Tumble-READ Project

In 2010, $35,000, originally collected as a part of the Tumble-READ mission offering project went to the Asia-Pacific region to help fund a number of literature and disciple programs. This represented Phase I of a three phase initiative to provide and distribute Christian literature materials to children of the Asia-Pacific region.

Kidz First Publishing

Money from the “D-Code Challenge” was used in 2009-2010 to produce Bible Studies for Children: 1 & 2 Samuel. This publication was translated, and is available in Global English, French, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. Genesis and Matthew are expected in 2011.

VBS Grants - 91 grants totalling nearly $20,000 in WordAction VBS materials distributed

The VBS Grant program (formerly knows as the Pioneer VBS program) is funded through the Mission Offering Project.  The VBS Grant program was originally created to provide WordAction VBS materials to New Start churches and churches with a cultural minority. These materials would allow these churches to hold a VBS.

In 2010, 91 grants, totalling nearly $20,000 in WordAction VBS materials were distributed. Thirty-five grants totalling over $8,000 were distributed to seven different non-USA/Canada nations. These included Jamaica, St. Lucia, Northern Ireland, Guyana, Russia, Ukraine, and Zambia. Twenty-seven of these grants went specifically to the Demerara-Essequibo district in Guyana. 

Touch-A-Life Grants

Touch-a-Life ministry scholarships are made possible through a portion of the money raised each year from the Kids Reaching Kids Mission Offering Project.  In 2010, $16,505 was provided to our scholarship recipients.  The 2010 Touch-a-Life scholarship recipients include:

• The Friends Club of the Troy Church of the Nazarene (Troy, Michigan)
• The Mount Olive Church of the Nazarene Cross Country Youth Ministry
(Wrightsville, Georgia)
• The Real Life Church of the Nazarene Home T.E.A.M.
(Crystal Lake, Illinois)

EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS
The money raised through Kids Reaching Kids also impacts the lives of 15 international children each year by contributing toward their holistic care. Since 1991, Kids Reaching Kids has played a significant role in helping dozens of children receive much needed assistance.

PUBLICITY EXPENSES
A minimal amount of money is invested to provide the necessary publicity material for the Kids Reaching Kids project. These items include the Kids Reaching Kids website, a Mission Offering project promotional poster and interactive DVD. Click Here to request a free poster and DVD.
