The generation group known as the "Baby Boomers" continues to exert its influence as the first of them turned 65 years of age in 2011. Due to longer life expectancy and the need for continued income, many Boomers will continue to work beyond their official retirement age. For some, little in life will change. For others, reaching retirement age will involve significant changes. Some will follow their passion or hobbies to create new job and companies. Others will find employment in another field while some will discover volunteer opportunities.
To assist single adults as they begin retirement, this series of PowerPoint presentations offers information and suggestions. Accompanying many of the slides are additional comments or questions.
