Welcome to the office of the General Secretary of the Church of the Nazarene.

This is an exciting time to be a member of the Church of the Nazarene! From the early days of the denomination, God had a plan and purpose for the people who called themselves Nazarenes. The message of holiness, one that had social implications, burned in the hearts of early members. That passion is still alive and in fact has been revitalized in recent years. We have a hope-filled message that is a joy to share with people who are hungry for deeper meaning in life.

Our mission is simply stated: “To make Christlike disciples in the nations.”  We proclaim the good news of the gospel in 155 world areas. The general secretary is charged with recordkeeping for these areas and the credentialing process of ministers as well as responsibilities for Manual procedural issues and legal questions.

We are here to serve the church. It is my hope that you will find answers to your questions as you connect to the various links on this site. If you are ever in Lenexa in the Kansas City area, stop by for a visit. I would enjoy meeting you.
