The World Evangelism Fund is the backbone of giving and stewardship in the expanding international Church of the Nazarene. It is the World Evangelism Fund (WEF) that provides the foundation for mission giving around the world. As we give to the WEF, we are touching the lives of countless others and furthering the work of the Kingdom of God.

Although WEF is collected year round there are three main offerings that specifically emphasize the importance of WEF. These are Easter, Thanksgiving/Harvest, and Faith Promise. Click on the links below to get specific resources.

Why does the WEF exist? As an organized denomination, we know that together every one achieves more. As we pool our resources into a general fund, we can reach much further cooperatively than we ever could as individual donors and local churches. The WEF ties Nazarenes together and unifies our one mission: To Make Christlike Disciples in the Nations.

No other church supports global mission more effectively than the Church of the Nazarene. No other financial plan invests more productively in life transformation than the WEF. The most helpful way to invest in holiness mission movements is the WEF.  Without this baseline infrastructure, no other ministry provided by designated or special mission giving can remain viable (including Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, Work & Witness, JESUS Film Harvest Partners, and Alabaster).

For generations, Nazarenes around the world have financially supported missions and we thank you for those generations of giving and challenge the next generation to continue that lasting legacy!

Faith Promise
Faith Promise is one of the most meaningful methods for supporting missions. It is not a pledge. A Faith Promise is exactly what is says — a promise made in faith between an individual and God. That promise is based on what the giver believes God wants him or her to give to ministries beyond those of the local church. Faith Promise is not new.
