During the February 2009 session of the General Board, the name of World Mission Literature was officially changed to Global Nazarene Publications. The new name is recognizable as a publisher and identifiable in the broad global publishing market. World Mission Literature was representative of the General Board structure, but did not give the necessary identification in the publishing world. GNP is selling many books to the broader global Christian community, and the new name is also in keeping with the direction of the general superintendents in developing a global church and community.

Global Nazarene Publications is the non-English publishing arm of the Church of the Nazarene. Our primary function is to facilitate the translation, production, and distribution of holiness literature to as many non-English people groups as possible, thereby preserving the integrity of our theology and the doctrine of holiness, and making it available to the non-English church.
