Kim, In-Kwon and Jeong-Seok - Tonga

In-Kwon and Jeong-Seok Kim are regional missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene in the Kingdom of Tonga. They began serving in February, 2007, working at the Mango Tree Centre for People with Disabilities in Nuku’alofa, Tonga.

In-Kwon graduated from Korea University in 1987 with a B.A. in English Education and Chung-Ang graduate school in 1992 with a M.SW. He received B/Min from Bible College of New Zealand in 2006.

Jeong-Seok graduated from Kyung-Hee University in 1987 with a B.A. in English Education and received her DipCounseling in Bible College of New Zealand in 2007.

For more than ten years, In-Kwon and Jeong-Seok had helped the disabled children In Korea. After that, they served the street children and slum dwellers in Nairobi, Kenya for several years.

From 2007, they took on leadership of Mango Tree Centre, a compassionate ministry for the disabled in Tonga. Through the Mango Tree Center ministry, they offers a holistic and family centered rehabilitation service for people with disabilities.

They were married in 1989 and have three children, Hyong-Seok, Hyong-Eun, and Hyong-Chan.
