Yan Tai is a listener to World Mission Broadcast’s partnership program called Awake With the Angels (AWTA). He e-mailed the program’s host asking for help with a personal struggle and guidance as he desired to share his Christian faith with a Buddhist friend - he just didn’t know how. Through the airwaves, Yan Tai found the counsel he was seeking and has now set out to be an effective witness for Christ.
 
A fascinating fact about the AWTA program is that while it has aired Monday - Friday evenings via shortwave radio into Yan Tai’s homeland for several years, it is now also available 24/7 via web cast. In 2007, more than 79,000 hours of AWTA programs were downloaded, making it possible for listeners to tune in anytime of the day or night and receive Biblically sound, holiness messages.
