More than 500 church members and leaders from the Carchá area in the Verapaz del Norte District of Guatemala gathered 13 January to celebrate a holiness service that introduced participants to the concept of sanctification.
This event is the second holiness service on the district this year.
“We have seen the need to give the opportunity to leaders and church members to experience entire sanctification which is the core doctrine of the Church of the Nazarene,” said District Superintendent Francisco Cho. “The best way for the church to move forward is with leaders filled with the Holy Spirit.”
The district has planned to celebrate seven more events of this kind in the near future.
