In Memoriam: 1 March 2019

The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 25 February-1 March 2019.

Charlene (Deal) Cluff, 55, of Bellevue, Nebraska, passed away 22 February. She was the spouse of minister Ray Cluff, who serves as senior pastor at Heritage Hill Church of the Nazarene in Papillion, Nebraska.

Billy Ferguson, 86, of Beebe, Arkansas, passed away 15 February. He was a retired minister, serving in Texas and Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ferguson, who passed away in 2015.

Barry Reiswig, 68, of Cedar Park, Texas, passed away 23 February. He was a retired minister, serving in Texas. He is survived by his wife, Chris Reiswig.

Donald Tyler, 92, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away 19 February. He was a retired minister, serving in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Missouri. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Tyler, in 2013.

June Pauline (Bower) Wallace, 101, of Largo, Florida, passed away 25 February. She was a retired missionary, serving in Mozambique, South Africa, and Jamaica. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister and evangelist J.C. Wallace, who served in Florida, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. J.C. Wallace passed away in 2009. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, retired missionary Armand Doll, who served in Mozambique, South Africa, and Jamaica. Armand Doll passed away in 1986.

Helen Whitener, 98, of Powder Springs, Georgia, passed away 19 February. She was the widow of retired minister James Whitener, who served in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. James Whitener passed away in 2011.
