The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 27 — 1 December 2017.

Marlon Angel, 76, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away 21 November. He was a retired minister, serving in Ohio, Alabama, and West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Deloris Angel. 

Vilma (Hyacinth) Benjamin, 85, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away 23 November. She was a retired minister, serving in New York and Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister Robert Benjamin, who served in New York. Robert Benjamin passed away in 1994. 

Phylis (Cox) Gunn, 83, of Marion, Indiana, passed away 28 November. She was the wife of retired minister Clyde Gunn, who served in Indiana and Michigan. 

W. Earl Harris, 93, of Cleburne, Texas, passed away 23 November. He was a retired minister, serving in Texas. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Powell) Harris. 

Billy Laster, 71, of East Dublin, Georgia, passed away 21 November. He was the husband of minister Janice Laster, who serves in pastoral service at Mount Olive Church of the Nazarene in Wrightsville, Georgia. 

Nan Lewis, 68, of Texas City, Texas, passed away 30 November. She was the wife of minister James Lewis Jr., who pastors the Texas City, Texas, Church of the Nazarene. 

J. Gerald Parmer, 80, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, passed away 28 November. He was a retired minister, serving in Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Judith Parmer. 

Barbara (Cunningham) Reed, 83, of Brentwood, Tennessee, passed away 23 November. She was the widow of retired minister Millard Reed, who served at churches in Kansas, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Tennessee and as president of Trevecca Nazarene University. Millard Reed passed away in 2012.

Winfield "Win" Swanson, 91, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away 28 November. He was a retired minister, serving in Arkansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Colorado, Washington, and Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Swanson. 

Gary Wilson, 72, of Auburn, Indiana, passed away 26 November. He was a retired minister, serving in Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, Virginia, Maine, Kentucky, California, and Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Wilson.
