Botswana districts host annual Easter conference

by | 26 Apr 2019

The Church of the Nazarene in Botswana hosted its annual Easter conference 18-21 April. All churches and preaching points in the country came together to commemorate the holiday.

The services were translated from Setswana to English to accommodate the Africa Regional Office representatives, Africa South Field Office representatives, and other English-speaking visitors.

The conference opened with a moment of silence in honor of the lives lost to Cyclone Idai in Malawi, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe.

“The purpose of this celebration is not just a tradition to us but instead an initiative to annually revitalize the journey of being Christlike disciples,” said Ketshepile Bobo Mooketsi, event organizer.
