The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 27-31 July 2020.

Ramona Smith-Bester, 94, of Brighton, Colorado, passed away 23 July 2020. She was the widow of John Smith, a retired minister who served in Missouri, Indiana, Nebraska, Texas, Colorado, and Kansas. John passed away in 1990. Ramona is survived by her second husband Deon Bester.

Roberto Nunez, 54, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away 23 July 2020. He was the pastor of Noel Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Centeno Nunez.

Sunny Penachos Sr., 77, of Binalbagan City, Philippines, passed away 21 July. He was trhe pastor of Green Beach Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Efegenia Villarmea.

James Richardson, 77, of Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away 23 July 2020. He was a retired minister, serving in Texas and Arkansas.

Samuel Scantlen, 64, of Galien, Michigan, passed away 23 July 2020. He was a retired minister, serving in Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Joy Scantlen.

Genevieve Sturtevant, 101, of Dover Foxcroft, Maine, passed away 25 July 2020. She was the widow of Leroy Sturtevant, a retired minister who served in Maine. Leroy passed away in 1983.
