When Annabel and Shahade Twal moved to Jerusalem, they had no idea that Annabelle's fluency in German and Shahade's fluency in Arabic would lead to a weekly German tutoring class for children and an Arabic Bible study for adults.

Hurricane Florence hit the U.S. less than a day before Typhoon Mangkhut hit the Philippines. Both storms are massive in scale, affecting millions of people in the two areas. The Church of the Nazarene is already responding thanks to disaster response teams that were in position before the storms even hit.
